User Researcher

Job description

We are looking for an experienced User Researcher with a desire for understanding complex use cases to be involved at every stage of product development. You will collaborate on a daily basis with Design, Product Management, Engineering and Customer Success teams, and will work under the responsibility of the Design Lead.

You’ll have 2 main responsibilities:

1. You will handle strategic exploratory research activity on financial crime and cybersecurity use cases:

  • - Conduct remote or on-site qualitative research with our customers, users and field experts.
  • - Identify customer needs and communicate their impact and context in an accessible way to the rest of the team.
  • - Analyse and synthesize your findings into product and business recommendations/opportunities.
  • - Participate in the planning and scoping of research topics.

2. You will support our teams to identify customer and user insights through planning, conducting, and applying effective user research:

  • - Establish common guidelines for user research deliverables, tools and processes.
  • - Coach and train team members on user research methodologies.
  • - Manage the user-research knowledge repository and make data accessible throughout the organization.
  • - Help teams share their findings and their impact on the product and users.

Experience and abilities:

  • - At least 2 years of work experience as a User Researcher or similar role in a software company.
  • - You have hands-on experience with one or more of the following research methods: in-depth interviews, moderated and unmoderated in-person and remote usability testing, in-field research.
  • - You have experience communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of an organization.
  • - You are fluent in English and French to conduct qualitative research with our customers.
  • - You have good organisation skills to balance your time and workload.
