QA Engineer

At Linkurious, we are building an investigation software to help companies and governments fight fraud, money laundering and cyber threats.
Our development team is growing and we are shipping features at an increasing rate. We want to keep high standards in terms of product-quality while continuing to improve our product at a faster rate.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of our squads and ensure that we deliver a high quality product to our customers. Our product & engineering team is organized into two separate cross-functional squads, with a product owner, a designer, and 4 developers. You will interact every day with the product & engineering teams, and will work under the responsibility of the Head of QA. In a typical week, you will:

  • - Contribute to the acceptance criteria definition for new features along the developers, product managers and designers;
  • - Identify regressions and unexpected behaviors in our products;
  • - Maintain and execute various test scenarios, both manual and automated;
  • - Write, maintain and implement automated tests with Gherkin and JavaScript and help developers in your squad do the same;
  • - Analyze test results and use your critical mind to report issues to your squad;
  • - Follow bug resolution and challenge the tickets’ criticity;
  • - Plan test campaigns, considering business and technical constraints;
  • - Suggest improvements both regarding methods and techniques, and always remind your coworkers that quality is everybody’s business.


You are analytical and able to use critical thinking. You are able to focus on user experience, while keeping technical constraints in mind. You are comfortable interacting with various profiles and many different cultures. You are curious and eager to learn both technical and business skills. You want to contribute to the growth of a company that can really make the world a better place.

  • - With at least 2 years of relevant QA experience you’re comfortable with discovering new features and apps. You have demonstrated your ability to deep dive into a solution and understand its essence.
  • - You are familiar with test automation and relevant frameworks.
  • - Knowledge of BDD/ATDD is a real asset.
  • - ISTQB is an asset.
  • - Experience in an agile environment is an asset.
  • - Good written and oral communication in English. French is a plus but is not required - any other language appreciated.
  • - Knowledge of financial crime and anti money laundering would be awesome.

Our clients are located in more than 20 countries, with several tax administrations, major banks and insurance companies. We also support NGOs fighting corruption.
Our software notably helped the International Consortium for Investigative Journalism (ICIJ) reveal the scandal of the Panama Papers and Paradise Papers, and is used by the Attorney General of New York to fight human trafficking.
