Who are you?

Nicolas : I am a 22 year old geek who likes sports and challenges. I went to the Ecole des Mines de Nantes from which I just graduated with a computer science major. I have had several very different job experiences: I spent a few summers as a sailing teacher, I worked in a factory to do production line optimizations, I interned at Quandora, a New York City based start up and the French Department of Defense doing client-side security research.

Can you tell us about the technologies you love?

Nicolas: There are many interesting technologies out there so that’s a tough one. My favorite langages are JavaScript, Python and Scala. Each of them has its own advantages and is great in its very own way. On a framework perspective Angular and play! are two great one and I would like to have the opportunity to work with Django or Meteor.js (just went to 1.0) which seem to be very innovative and efficient frameworks.

What do you expect to learn at Linkurious?

Nicolas: Probably more about big data treatments, graph theory and … start up management! I would very much like to build my own start up, Jean and Sébastien are doing a great job so far and I hope to learn a lot from them.

Which super hero or fictional character would you be?

Nicolas: Iron man would be terribly cool :-). Super hero playboy billionaire.

What is one thing few people know about you?

Nicolas: I like cooking, mainly pastries, since I love eating them. At school I loved chemistry, mixing things together to create other things. That’s probably what cooking is all about!
